Grand Canyon Sweet

How sweet it is; after visiting Zion and Bryce, we went to Kanab, Utah for a couple of nights from which we made a day trip to the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

I had originally planned to go to Jacob Lake Campground in Arizona, near the entrance to the north rim; a federal no-frills or hookups campground.

But Nan and Shaddy voted me down on this part of the plan; they are still addicted to hookups and utilities. Last year, I purchased a Honda 3000 generator to provide power for such events, and today it sits unused in the toolbox in The Beast.

But Nan and Shaddy are right; when they want all time, full time air conditioning, the generator would have to run continuously. I agree with them that the generator is best used in cooler locations where full time air conditioning is not required; like Washington State in the fall!

So, we had an enjoyable day trip from Kaneb to the north rim, and back. I’ve include in this post a number of my favorite photos made at the north rim.

Next, we are headed to Page, AZ; Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon!
