Edit Blog Post

Thanks for everyone's comments. We are settled in at Thousand Trails in Verde Valley, AZ. I’m learning Windows 7 on our new computer. This is why I haven’t answered blog comments or emailed in awhile. Tom and I had our physicals and he also saw his cardiologist. He is doing great! I have my foot out of its cast and have been playing pickleball for a few weeks now! Friends Ed and Sandy were here, and I made new PB friends of Toni and Kathy and am getting reacquainted with Jim from Lake Whitney TT. Newbies Jeannie and Larry are learning the game too. So we have enough players for a game until January. (Hi temp in the 70's and low around 38.) (Ya’ll come!)
We are staying here through April. This is the first time we have been anywhere for more than 3 weeks. We love the area so much we just thought we’d try out their winter. Also, Tom has spurs on his foot so he is getting that fixed. I told him spurs belong on cowboy boots but he never listens to me (Ha!)
Our friends Kat and Woody are also wintering here. She took me ATVing and

it was a blast! The scenery here is breathtaking. We girls also make frequent trips into Sedona to shop for Inidian treasures, eat, garage-sale shop and take time to visit the open houses. In this economy you can buy a 2,000 sf house for a mere $4 million! I think our motorcoach is just fine for now! Merry Christmas and God bless ya'll this season. May everyone have an even greater 2011! (Double-click a picture to enlarge.)

Sedona... wonderful place
Hi, We have visited Sedona twice.. leave our MH back on our lot in Salome and stay two nights at the Kokopelli Inn in Oak Creek area. Beautiful area to see. The Red Rock State Park is great, but it's one that is closed down currently. Jerome is a fun trip too.. well, everywhere. We flew back home from Phoenix Nov. 22... will fly out of Port. on Jan. 22nd to New Zealand for a two week land tour and then back to Phoenix and Salome for downtime till it's time to come back to The Dalles and spray season, bees, blossoms and eventually harvest. Enjoy your AZ time... and of course you know that Utah has great places to see, but better in late summer/fall. Good that you foot has healed.

Beautiful
Hi Karen and Tom, The pictures are just breath taking---they look like picture post cards. Makes me homesick. The ATVing sure looks like fun!!! I am glad to hear that you both have a clean bill of health. I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Blessed Healthy New Year!!!

Send Pickleball Players
No wonder we can't get enough players here at Whitney TT--they're all in AZ! But, since Stan & Ellen got back last week, it has gotten better. We played a few times, including this weekend. Tell Toni & Kathy we miss them. Enjoyed your blog. Good luck w/your new computer software. Merry Christmas and may the New Year bring you good health and more good times!
