View at our RV Park Finally, a true lazy day. Got up , did nothing ( one of my favorite chores!). Q, Ray, Al, Tom and Peggy went fishing for halibut while I joined Sandy, Diane and John, fishing for t-shirts and souvenirs. ( Sue decided to just relax for the day). We walked all the way to Land's End Restaurant (over a mile---burn those calories, girl!) and stopped for lunch. MAJOR ERROR!? I decided to eat light: soup, salad and bread.
Boy, I guess these Alaskans must really like to eat because my scrumptious bowl of clam chowder was about the size of a soup tureen (!) the salad came on a dinner plate, and the bread was a full loaf!!!!
I'm going to need to run a half marathon to make up for my "light" lunch. Well, I really don't like to run, so I opted out of that idea and instead shopped for 6 hours with Sandy. That was my lazy day!
Q brought home halibut, we smothered it with buttered ritz crackers, baked it and toasted Fishing Day! Around 10 p.m. (remember, it's still light out) Al built a fire on the beach, and Peggy and I sang "Smoke gets in your Eyes!

Harbor at Homer And on that note, I'll end.
