We had a very nice trip to Alaska where we were able to visit my family and enjoy one of the most beautiful places.

Day 1

We arrived and were tired so after flying into Anchorage, which by the way had the best view for any airport I have ever been too, so we had a relaxing day. We first went to dinner ath the Brew House. We later went to my Aunt and Uncles where we would be staying. This was out side of Wasilla.

Day 2

We recharged our batteries from the flight. We as a family went to Jim Creek. It was a nice drive and we were able to be on our own private stone beach seeing the glacier. We ended a great day with a family dinner.

Day 3

We started off by going to Wittier. A fishing port that can only be accessed through a tunnel. This tunnel has a schedule for cars and trains each way. so you must be available at this specific time. After lunch we headed to our first NOVA experience as we were white water rafting. Such a thrill.

Day 4

We went to hike a glacier, and learned much about them. it was a great excursion. We later had Mexican food (a lot of mexican food in Alaska). We finished off a great day with a home cooked meal.

Day 5

We went to the Alaska State fair. Alex couldn't join us because he was hunting. where he shot a caribou and a moose, Steve shot a moose and Kyle my cousin shot a 10.5 ft grizzlie that was after them.

Day 6

What a tiring day this was climbing Pioneer Peek. It was exhausting but worth it. What a great hike.

Day 7

We went to visi and walked a path to see Thunder Bird Falls. Beautiful little day trip. We were very sore from our previous day. We relaxed and enjoyed a family dinner.

Day 8

We stayed around town and met more family. A nice relaxing day.

Day 9

We went to Talketna where we visited many shops and boutiques. we had great gifts and experiences.

Day 10

A sad day indeed, as it was full of packing and good byes. We had one last meal before we had to say good bye in Anchorage
