Where on earth is Seldovia? Well... it is tucked away in the Kenia peninsula opposite Homer in Alaska, with a population of about 260 and the only way to get there is by seaplane or boat! There are no roads connecting Seldovia to the rest of Alaska. It felt like an Island but we had to keep reminding ourselves that it was part of the mainland..

It is a stunning little place, there is so much beauty - it's impossible to describe or to capture. Besides the natural beauty there were also a few restaurants and 1 teeny litlle grocery store, no roadmarkings or stop signs and very friendly locals.

If ever you are in Homer it's SO worth taking a boat or seaplane out to Seldovia. It was about a 2hour boat trip there, we stopped along the way to look for whales and then we stayed in the little town for about 3 hours and then zoomed back to Homer in about an hour..

That's it for now...remember to scroll all the way down for more fotos!! 😊
