Everyone had a great sleep last night And the kids slept in till 9 o'clock. The time went back an hour as well today. Weather continues to be gray and wet on the outside, thank goodness for the indoor pool! We took advantage of room service again this morning and enjoyed a relaxing breakfast. About mid-morning we saw 2 rather large “tender boats” approaching the ship so Jack and I went on deck to watch as a couple of hundred folks abandoned ship to head off on a 6 hour tour of Tracy Arm Inlet. One Aussie couple were watching with us and commented how they were glad they cancelled their tour as it was so foggy, visibility would be very poor. They saved $540.00 US per person and all they would have gotten was cold and wet! The ship continued on to Juneau arriving at 1:00. We dressed for the weather after having lunch and headed down the gangplank onto the dock. A short walk took us to the “downtown” area where we joined passengers from the other 3 cruise ships that had landed before us....needless to say the population of Juneau increased by about 10000 people today. We crossed the Main Street to the Mt. Roberts aerial tram. The tram heads up 1800 feet to the top and the tram cars hold about 20 people. The weather was very misty with a slight drizzle. One of the tram operators told us that they get 300 days of weather just like today each year and the other 65 days are awful. Within a minute we lost site of he cruise ship As we ascended

At the top we took in an award winning film that depicted the old native legend about Raven bringing back the light. It was very well done. Later we saw a recovearring bald eagle and got some good pictures. We did the manditory gift shop visit before heading back down to sea level. We meandered around for awhile before boarding the ship for dinner and another swim. The kids went to Club Hal at 7pm to play Minecraft for an hour while grandma and I enjoyed a quiet dinner out. Then it was early to bed as we have a big day in Skagway tomorrow.
