Bowling Green to Gulf Shores

Woke up to a layer of ice and snow in Bowling Green. Leo had a nice walk and then it was time for some breakfast at the hotel. It was a nice mix of hot and cold breakfast items. We loaded up the truck headed down the road a bit. Still lots of ice on the roads. We stopped at the Krispy Kreme before leaving town just because it was there. We stopped in Birmingham for some nice "hot chicken". We arrived in Gulf Shores and easily found our "new home". One row of houses back from the ocean. Leo got his first walk on the beach. Then it was off to dinner. Busy little place just a few miles down the road. We had to wait about an hour. It seems we are not the only ones from home that are here. The kids ran into a classmate traveling with family while we were waiting. 18 hour drive from home and we run into someone we know. Just like the Belize trip. Far from home and running into people we know.
