Hacienda Masul

We closed on our home in Merida yesterday but unfortunately we now won't be able to move into our home in North Carolina until the end of March. So, we'll be staying at a place called Hacienda Masul for the next week or so while we wait. It's a beautiful hacienda located....well, we're not sure where its located 😊 We followed our friend Arturo (the owner of the Hacienda) so we're not completely sure how to get here.



We are the only people here except for the caretakers. There are 8 dogs on the property (our dogs are happy about that) and also two horses. It's peaceful and quiet...a welcome change to the buses and car alarms of Merida.

That isn't a green floor, it's a frog pond covered in Algae. All of our dogs thought it was a green floor though and kept falling in :)

Yes, they do love it here. We were thinking that maybe Arturo wouldn't notice 2 or 3 extra dogs on his property when we leave :)
