On the beach
On the Sea of Cortez Easter Sunday March 23, 2008. Finally wonderful weather for some beach time. Betty and I of course were waiting for a day this nice for quite a while. Our March/April 2008 trip to our house in Puerto Penasco, Mexico.
Today Easter Sunday was a super day with wonderful weather. After brunch this morning at Guiseppi's on Fremont we went to the beach East of town near Manny's. There were a lot of gulls of course and a few pelicans. The tide was coming in quite fast in the course of an hour and a half we were there.
Last Wednesday at Manny's my nephew Mark and I saw a whale spout twice. We're not sure why a whale would be here this time of year unless he/she made a wrong turn at Cabo San Lucas and should be out in the Pacific headed North. It possibly could have been a young one not knowing the rules. :-)
