Local kids taking Kayak lessons in our Kayak at Kino Bay
We crossed at Nogales it took about one hour to aquire the paper work to cross the boarder. quick check by border guard cut short by Meshia. We stopped at Nogales on Mexico side and met Anna and Edgar who were very helpful in directions and wonderful advice to help us by pass Hermisillo center and find large grocery and fuel stop. On to Bahia KIno Bay we arrived at around 3 or 4 pm and land in the best spot in the park at Islandia RV Park in old Kino Bay. With open view of the Sea of Cortez, Alcatraz Island and awsome sunsets.
Started out with staying for a night then a week now almost two weeks later it's starting to get cold enough at night to make us think about going father south.
Have met some wonderful people and are adjusting to RV camping quite well. The RV park is the only one in old Kino Bay and is right in the heart of a operating fishing village. The boat ramp is right beside our site , so we are able to watch the local fisherman come on go . The antics of how they launch their Pangas

Pelicans gather at the boat launch at Kino bay to wait for fisherman to clean their fish.
(boats ) keep us entertained for hours.
The fresh seafood is delivered daily to our site in the back of their trucks, just hours after they come back from fishing.
We love walking around the back streets of old Kino ,meeting the people that give this small town life . They live there lives in simple ways , but they have so much more than most of us with their apprecation for the basics. The small grocery stores are on every corner, they carry everything from water to fresh meat.
The food venders are plentiful, they serve a diverse selection of colorful choices. Pretty much anything you could imagine you will find.
We went for lunch in the plaza yesterday day had half a mesquite bbq chichen with fresh corn tortilla ,salsa and condiments for a wopping $3.50 for both of us,finger licking good.
