white sand beaches, turquoise waters, perfect avocados, friendly locals, pina coladas, cheap beer, rustic cabanas, hammocks, mayan sauna, cenotes, swimming and a monkey too.

mayan sauna. (mineral rock is heated in the fire & then transferred to the pit in the sauna. water is then splashed on the rock to make steam rise from the minerals and fill the sauna. it gets extremely intense to say the least.)
