NO EXCUSES!! :) Wednesday, 11th of December, 2013..
After a great night's sleep on our awesome memory-foam bed, we got ready and headed out to, guess where?? To have some food of course! Desayunar, bebe! Right next door,(surprise lol) is Las Brisas.. a buffet-style breakfast joint that offered... EVERYTHING. lol. My goodness, it was extra-ordinary.. all-inclusive resorts are AWESOOOOOME :D
With our full stomachs, we went back to our room and changed into our workout clothes.. so we could go to the gym and burn some of the countless calories we consumed haha! We did just that and went back to our room and changed to our bathing suits because it was time to get in the water!! The weather was amazing, 10am and it's already in the 80's 😊 At 1030am, we sat down on our underwater(pool) bar stools at The Margarita Bar and got served some cocktails.. yes, 1030am lol. Nina's new favorite drink is called "Banana Mama", a frozen concoction. I had margaritas, of course.. yes, 2 margaritas he he.. 😊
We walked on the beach and I swam out, Nina stayed behind.. the reef was too rough for her feet to handle. The Carribbean Sea was simply gorgeous.. amazing. The water was clear

Proper form! and warm.. 'very nice. I'm definitely a waterman, I feel so alive when I'm close to it.. 'explains my affinity to paddling.
When we returned to the pool area, Nina and I were treated to a photo session with a couple of exotic birds. Nina was definitely scared at first but she warmed up to the idea and agreed to the session. As you can see in the pictures, she had fun.
Afterwards, Nina and I joined a social activity that was starting in the pool.. water aerobics!! It was lead by this super funny dude who made the experience a blast. When we finished, everyone was treated to a dance lesson.. Bachata!! Our teacher was another super funny dude who taught us well, 'was a nice treat indeed.
Because of all the awesome physical activities, we developed an awesome appetite. 10 paces from the pool area is Bamboleo Snack and Grill.. 'ate like a king and queen then went back to our room to change out of our bathing suits. We walked to our hotel's sister hotel next door and explored more amenities. While there, we stumbled upon The Tequila Bar. Nina had a Banana Mama(of course) and I had 2 shots

Apparently.. OSHA doesn't have jurisdiction in Mexico lol of tequila, oye! 😊
We walked on the beach and continued to our room for a siesta! Around 5:30pm, I was awakened by what sounded like a very loud fan blowing in from outside our patio door.. except we didn't have a fan, it was actually a typhoon(it seemed like it!). It was raining so hard and loud, you wouldn't be able to have a conversation outside.. no kidding! It didn't last very long though, probably 15 minutes tops.
At approximately 6pm, we decided it's time for dinner. What to have tonight, hmm? lol We decided to dine in the only restaurant more than 20 yards from our room, Mikado Restaurant.. for some Japanese cuisine (just another 30 yards away lol). It is teppanyaki style so it was definitely dinner with some awesome entertainment provided by our Mexican chef, "Jackie Chan" lol. He was quite the martial artist with the spatula and cooking fork haha! Both Nina and I agree.. this restaurant was the best tasting so far out of all the restaurants in this resort.
After dinner, we attended "The Mexican Show" in our resort's theatre, "Teatro de Catalonia". It was a very cultural and colorful display of Mexico's history..
