After a day of fighting a losing battle with the sun and a day thereafter of hiding from it, we are spending our last day at Playa Zicatela half in the sun and half in the shade; life is full of compromising.
We walked the beach this morning, before 10am, like true gringos should. It is now midday and we are relaxing in the shade. We will hit the beach again later this afternoon, in time to watch the sunset.
This is truly a great place. Not too big, not too small, not overcrowded, and there is access to markets, internet, banks, food, shops, transportation. And, the view is outstanding, the food is great, the service is good, and the drinks are cold. We are glad to have found it now while it is what it is!
We leave in the morning for Playa Ventura, back in the state of Guerrero, for one night. Then, we return to Zihuatanejo for the duration of our trip.
Will post again from Zihuatanejo some time between Saturday and Wednesday. Until then, cheers!
