Mexico City!!!

Hello All!!

Well we made it here! 29 hours, and we are still not in our room! We cant have it untill 11am! It's 10 now so not long! We have just had breakfast on the roof terrace of where we are staying, the sun is shining and we are both still smiling, even tho we are both feeling a bit vacant!

All the flights were fine we had our own row each time so it felt quite chilled out, the last 12 hour flight was the hardest, but then we discovered we could have Bombay Saphire and tonic, so proceded to knock our selves out with that, we woke up and only had 2 1/2 hours to go! we left madrid at 12:40am and arrived here at 6am (with a 6hr time difference) and never saw any sunlight for the whole 12 hours! We have finally cought up with the sun thank god!!
The view of Mexico city when we were landing was amazing, it VAST!!!

We are going to go up to the top of the tallest building tonight and watch the sun set from the viewing point on the top (not sure if i will make it to the edge yot (will let you know!!)

Any hoo, Just wanted to let you all know we have arrived safe, and are still friends after 28 hours of traveling!!! We didn't even get grumpy!!

Will keep you all up to date as much as poss.

Hi both, I don't want to hear about the lovely hot weather in Mexico- it is freezing here-minus 7 and foggy too. Mad sales on everywhere- 50% off in many shops. I'm off to London on Wednesday to do a bit of retail therapy and get some tinsle too!Everyone good here. Hope all going well for you both. Let's have another blog. Jasper says miaow! x Jill
