OK… day of the dead… the day we pay respect to the people that have died, and laugh the in the face of death… it’s a celebration… not of the person dying, but of their life and to show that we too are not afraid of death (which figuratively looks like a skeleton lady with a floral filled straw hat) ☺

We decided to go an hour out of town, with a population one tenth the size of Monterrey, but with celebrations like this, 10 times better… and it was…
It wouldn’t be the biggest fiesta of the year, (mind you with Mexico fiestas are never ending) but worth seeing ☺ and trying all the different foods, which of course we did… come on… It’s me ☺

Small out of town afternoon, there was only going to be a few of us…. But looks like I had a whole classroom full ☺ We makes it even more special, I think we were the only internationals crazy enough to go out of out way to do something special… and special it was ☺
