Winter Trip to El Barril

Had a great trip to El Barril. We drove to Ensenada on Friday, where we did some work and ate some fish tacos. Mmmmm.... Stayed at a decent motel for the night, then headed to Bahia de Los Angeles early Saturday morning. Spent the entire day in the car. It was a really gorgeous drive. Spent Saturday night at a nonprofit in Bahia, then took the rock filled road to El Barril. Managed to escape with only one flat tire. :-) The rest of the week was spent working and relaxing in El Barril. The people there are great, and I really enjoyed getting to know them, even if my poor Spanish was extremely limiting. It should be much better on my next trip. Headed back through Guerrero Negro on Thursday and spent the night in El Rosario. We were back in San Diego by mid-day on Friday. Can't wait for the spring trip. Enjoy the photos!
