Hi Folks,

Well Mother Nature pulled a fast one on us again. Last night it rained hard alll night at the Dawson City campground.......we got wet through. To cap it all the road accross the "top of the world" highway also got washed out and we can't get to Alaska for 5 days yet. Sooooooo.....we made the snap decision to go up the Dempster (in the rain) to Inuvik instead. so we're sat in the Eagle Plains truck stop after pitching our tents half way to Inuvik! To make matters more concerning they've just shut the Dempster behind us because it's washed out too. There's only one way to go....Inuvik. Hopefully we get there tomorrow and i can send another blog.......miss your typing Penny!
Anyhow, it's late and we want toget a good start in the morning so I'll upload some photos for you.
Hopefully I can blog tomorrow......Byeeee

Nevil

warm and dry
Hi Nevil and Adam, Sorry to hear you're having such bad luck with the weather!! We had one wet day from Liard Hot Springs to Fort St. John, other than that lots of sunshine. Liard Hot Springs was great - we highly recommend it. We're in St. Albert tonight and will do the last short leg tomorrow. It was good riding with you. Perhaps we'll ride a little further / longer next time. Best of luck with the rest of your trip. P&A
