Well I'm here in signpost city and trying to continue my blog. We left Medicine Hat Sunday the 11th and spent the next three nights at Stoney Nakota Casino where we took side trips to Banff and Lake Louise.
We took an alternate route the second trip and watched two Elk grazing on the side of the road. Fellow ESKP Ted Applegate arrived and we set out for the Snaring River campround ( not a large RV friedly place ). On the way North through Banff Provincial Park we noticed several animal overpasses that had been built to allow migrating animals to pass over the highway in relative safety. We spent the night at Snaring River Camp Grounds before departing for Grande Prairie the next morning, it was a beautiful drive through the Canadian Rockies and the icefields although it got rainy in the afternoon.
