My name is Jonathan Truong and I will be a new Travel Blogger since I've been traveling so much and I will be traveling in the future. I'm new to Travel Blogging so it will take time for me to get adjusted to the Travel Blog. I was recommended by a family member to do Travel Blogging or something like a journal. So I've been attempting to budget my time to share my thoughts about my travels and places I've been to. So I will be blogging more about travel as I will be traveling a lot and as I'm doing that, I will be showing you where and what I've done as well in creating reminisce about those places. So here's the first blog in Montreal, Quebec.
For first-timers or those who are interested into learning about geography about Montreal, go to the library to borrow a guide or buy a Montreal Travel Guide. Montreal is located in Canada in Eastern Canada. It is famous for French as well as many galleries, art, hockey, etc. Plus it is very interesting and plus one of the most attractive cities in the world to explore. It is located across from the border of Northwestern New York and Vermont.
I would like to share more information about what I did in Montreal, Quebec. I basically have driven to Montreal before and I drove pass off of Vermont, New York,New Jersey, Philadelphia, as well as Delaware, Maryland and stop back in Virginia. This was a roadtrip roundtrip when I was like 5. I literally lol haha knew what I did and luckily I remembered what I did when I was there at young age. So basically I explored a lot of things as if you were France. If you went to Montreal, you can actually cross France off your bucket or travel list. That is because Montreal is more like Europe of France and it is more like Paris of Montreal because it's very French.
Let me explain to you now about the list of things I've done in Montreal. I went to downtown with my family in Quebec. I went to Chinatown first and I tasted Pho Vietnamese food there. Plus it was very good and Montreal Chinatown Downtown was amazing. I barely can even forget about this and I did a lot of walking in Montreal, Quebec which was fun. It's the city that is amused by joy, sometimes depression(referring to the art gallery in Montreal Art Museum). Many people from all over the world try this kind of food in Montreal and live there. There are also a lot of Asians and other people live in Montreal, Quebec.
Another thing is Old Montreal. Mark Twain proclaimed "The City of Hundred Bells." Yes the Old City of Montreal is full of churches, architecture and more galleries. You can literally walk across the city even on a stagecoach to many fun attractions. You can explore Old Montreal by going to the festival. I literally remembered I went to the festival which the clown was doing all kinds of cool, little bit drama acts which I don't know what was he even thinking and doing. It was a lot of fun.
I saw the Montreal Town Hall and Notre-Dame Basallica. Montreal Town Hall was so amazing and that place made Old Montreal Town a best city in Canada. Plus I've already checked out on the outside. Very good and I would highly recommended it. Plus Notre-Dame Basillica I saw on the outside and the inside. It looked a lot different than where I live. Those places aren't the same as where you would live because every place is unique and special. It's like I went to Puerto Rico and went to the church but it was little bit compacted with other buildings. In Montreal, however, there are big churches like those. Montreal Town-Hall is very antique and very gorgeous and beautiful. I have some photos especially myself on the church in Montreal but it's not this one. Inside the Town Hall looks beautiful. It is also designed like a courthouse( trial, jury and judge included) where the actions of the court take place. During nightime and daytime you can see the change of colors of the Town Hall. I really loved it. Definitely would check this out.
Check out Montreal Canadiens Stadium and Olympic Stadium if you love sports.
Check out also, Montreal Jazz Festival and check out Montreal Aquarium and Botanical Gardens. The animals are amazing in Montreal. When I was 5 years old, I could remember and I really actually remembered that I saw a polar bear. It was spectacular. Can't you believe how I remembered and what I did when I was 5 years old.
If you want to exercise and do some relaxation, take a stroll across the lake in Montreal. The food is excellent. I love it.
Also, I would recommend to check out Saint Observatory Church. I was literally standing right in front of the church. I did some praying in the church like I did in Puerto Rico. It's a big church bigger than Washington DC. Different kind of world in Montreal.
Now weather-wise. I would recommend to travel to Montreal, Quebec in Canada summer time. Plus the weather gets very cool during the summer because it's usually cold unless if you go to Quebec City(2 hours and 34 I don't if that includes traffic from Montreal). Between June and August would be great.
If you want to learn and travel to Montreal, check out many resources. Go to Youtube and Google Montreal Travel as well as there are cruises that go along Montreal with Royal Carribean, Norweigan Cruise Line and more! Bon Voyage and Happy Travels!
