Out of the UK at last
Today we flew from Heathrow to Toronto then hired a car and drove to our new resort near Toronto. Our flight was delayed by 30 minutes on the runway due to rain but other than that it was a good flight. When we got to Canada we were surprised how expensive the car hire was when we looked on line it was about $250 a week and the Canadian dollar and the $Aus are very close but when we got here we found out that did not include breakdown or damage cover or taxes and all of that cost more than the car rental so we have hired a car for a week and will see if we can find anything cheaper for the next week and a bit.
