When you work on a cruise ship your priorities completly changen. When ever you get a chance to get off the ship the main goal is to find some free wifi and a place where they serve proper food. Time is limited when going a shore at least for crew members.

I am currently trying to cut down my time on the internet and try to have at least one hour of just walking around and explore the places we are going to. I will still go out for food, but have choosen to eat at small local cafes or pubs, with the occasional visit of to a Mc Donald or Tim Horton if nothing else is around 😉

For the last month and a half we have been going back and forth between Boston and Quebec. This is the perfect time of the year to do this route because we are in the middle of the so called "Indian Summer". Trees are slowly starting to cgange colour and the view are absolutly beautiful.

Most of our stops include small towns such as Sydney, Charlottetown and Saguenay. I have done a lot walking lately and I am always trying to find a nice coastal walk or a park to get my 10 000 steps in for the day.

Like I said unfortunately we only get a few hours ashore so not much time to see alot of the places we are going to. But I am trying to make the most out of it and maybe one I can come back with a little bit more time yo explore.

Sounds like a great opportunity. Enjoy the stops and forget the internet.

Lovely photo
Nice photo. I understand that it must be frustrating to arrive at towns and not have time to do proper sightseeing there. That's actually one of the reasons we have never gone on any cruise ourselves. /Ake
