Today we cruised down the Inside Passage. After a leisurely breakfast in our suite we went up on deck while our suite was serviced. Tom worked on his diploma course while I packed, with our balcony door open so we could smell the fragrant pine trees. At lunch time we went up to the pizza restaurant for lunch, and marvelled at the people determined to lay by the pool, even with blankets on!

After lunch we returned to our suite while Tom packed and I read. We had a wonderful diversion when our ship was surrounded by a pod of dolphins.

We had our final dinner in the main restaurant - we both started with a crab chowder, then Tom had his favourite fillet Mignon with 5 pepper sauce, I had lobster tail with prawns. I finished with coffee gelato, and Tom had a chocolate concoction.

We returned to our suite and watched a bit of TV. We’ve watched some shows we’ve never seen at home - Veep, Chicago PD (a spin-off from Chicago Fire) and Young Sheldon.

We watched three ships sail past in the opposite direction. The would have all left Canada Place this afternoon.

It’s all a bit somber today. The end of a lovely holiday.
