Reading intently As I am such a small baby, I don't really know where I have been or where I am going. I know I have come off a thing called a yacht and I know it bounced around on the sea, but apparently I slept. Lucky me. When we got to somewhere called Toronto in a country called Canada, it was very late and the place where planes go called an airport, was nearly empty except for us.. This is where we said goodby to mamie. I am not quite sure who she is but she is with me a lot and sometimes looks after me. She must have something to do with mummy and daddy. Mummy and daddy thought she was quite funny because she kept having something called accident( s). First she went into a place called shop where she knocked over hats from a shelf. The shop lady called her Madame Catastrophe, which made Mamie laugh. Then with the thing you push to carry all our bags, she kept bumping into doors and getting stuck! Worst of all we went on a train and mamie got stuck again, this time it was bad because the doors wouldn't close and

Bahamas from the sky a train voice said there would be delays and somebody called a technician would have to come and look. The other passengers looked angry but fortunately somebody made the doors work and the train moved. Mamie thought it funny, but even though I am young, I don't think anybody else did. Anyway mamie went to her hotel with a bed but we didn't, we sat on a chair for 4 hours. Well I didn't, I slept on mummy or daddy. I can sleep anywhere. We finally arrived in Vancouver after many flights and 6 hours in Toronto airport where we said goodbye to Mamie. I slept the whole time until mummy took me out of my pram to go through security at 4.30am! In Canada the people in the airport are so much more relaxed and friendly than the US where everyone seems to be shouting all the time.
When we arrived to pick up our bags, we were met by uncle Dave! It was the first time we'd met and he is very nice. He drove us back to his little apartment to meet uncle Romke and Aunty Minke. I'm lucky to have such a nice family. Uncle Romke

Vancover arrival played with me lots and laughed a lot. Aunty Minke held me so gently and has a lovely peaceful smile.
After mummy and daddy had some lunch prepared by uncle Romke, we all went for a lovely walk around the bay. There were big mountains in the distance with white stuff that Mummy says is called snow on top. It is very pretty here! After a long walk, we all lay on the grass watching all the people walking past and lying on the beach. It's much colder here than on our Caribbean adventure, even though it's sunny! There were also lots of big logs on the beach for people to sit on.
On the way back, we went to MY restaurant - Akira sushi!! But it was funny because the rice was all black! But everyone still ate it. Then we went to our hotel which had a lovely view over to the snow capped mountains above the bay.
The next day, yesterday, we walked to Aunty Minke's place, but she had left to give a workshop. After breakfast we went to a big sports shop and mummy and daddy tried on many different boots and

Minke's appartment shoes. It was very boring and uncle Romke was very patient. He kept going out to put money in the funny box beside the car. Finally mummy and daddy each picked a pair of shoes and we left at 6pm! The funny thing here is that the sun doesn't go down! It stays up when I go to bed and only gets dark when I have my first feed at about 10pm!
Mummy and daddy did lots of washing and packing while I was asleep, and daddy took a bag to Aunty Minke's place so we could fit everything in uncle Romke's car today for our road trip to Cortez Island.
Now we are sitting on the ferry to Vancouver island. It is so pretty!!
