Blue Dragons
Call us expert Dragon Fly watchers. We actually feel we're the watchees.
At least 6 large, gorgeous Bright Blue decorated dragon flies often hover & zip around the boat
at anchor. Looking for their prey, they seem to be attracted to the boat, some shade, funny
looking humans & even indoors on occasion.
Hovering 2 or 3 feet away, we can see their amazing outfits. The 4 inch wing spans are crystal
clear & stiff so wings crackle when touching things. Torsos have brilliant blue chevrons that
match their long tails, cross wise striped w/ dark - pretty snazzy. The blue space man masks
{eyes to the knowledgeable } look a tad spooky & you wonder just what they have planned.
Now, seeing these beauties from a short distance is a delight. But if our personal space becomes
4 to 6 inches, it's a different thing altogether. "Taken a back" is a good description of your body
as they look to perch on your nose. Blue Dragons 2 inches away are just too intimate.
