Trapped by Wild fires Before we left Fairbanks, we had Wayne checked out at the medical centre and with drugs and a rest up in the truck he was soon back on his bike, with after market mirrors fitted and a bit of brute modification to the steering and dash area he was good to go. Wildfires
After having one of our driest winters in Eastern Australia we are not only in drought but gearing up for a bushfire summer. In August being the last month of our winter there had been over 200 bushfires in New South Wales alone...and its not even summer yet!!! I find it incredulous that there are wildfires in Alaska of all places that we usually associate with cold and ice. Yet they also had wildfires in Sweden recently. What direction is our planet heading?
