Four weeks until we leave

Well, we are now in the final month before we head east. We all have "itchy wheels" and can't wait to get on the road. We had not planned to spend the entire winter in one place, but circumstances required it, and this has been a nice place to stay overall.


Two weeks ago we had to say goodbye to our faithful friend, Sarge. He became ill suddenly, and died a few days later, of a cancerous tumour in his digestive system. The Veterinarian tried to save him, but alas, it was not to be. Here is one of the last photo's of him, with David, about three weeks ago.

During the next few weeks, we plan to get the fifth wheel ready to travel, re-arranging things for convenience, servicing both trailer and truck, and getting the other things we need to in order so that we can travel with minimum worry.
