Heading South about an hour we get to Nanton where there is the Nanton Air Museum and the Nanton Candy Store. We stop and have a look through the museum and buy some lollies (or should we say candy). The museum was interesting, they had a lot of different planes to look at and you could go inside a few of them too. The candy store had lots of cool candy we could remember from when we were little but don’t really see anymore, our purchases consisted of poprocks and sherbert.

We carried on to our destination, Head Smashed in Buffallo Jump, It was an interesting place to visit, the building was built into the side of a hill, we stopped at the theatre and watched a video of what the Buffallo Jump was and how it all worked. Then took the elevator to the top where there was a small walk to the actual Jump and a lookout area. We head back inside to check out all the interesting artefacts. Want to know more about it check out this pamphlet: http://history.alberta.ca/headsmashedin/docs/hsibj_infoguide_vs3.pdf

We stopped for some lunch in the cafe at the Buffallo Jump, Shane had a buffalo burger and Amanda a buffalo wrap, it was interesting eating, we are not keen on trying buffalo again.

We took the scenic route home which took us past Lethbridge where we saw the Lethbridge Viaduct the longest and highest steel trestle bridge in North America. We took a drive through the town and headed home. Something about this town reminded us of Hamilton in New Zealand.

We take to the long roads of nothing again and head home. We passed a town called Vulcan which had obviously got a little star trek crazy.

After another awesome day of exploring we are treated to a beautiful sunset.
