Yay, we made it! Our packs weighed in at 22.5 kg each - just under the 23 kg maximum (I guess we could have fit in that extra tube of toothpaste afterall). Our day packs came in at just under 10 kg each...light as a feather!

Once again, Jordan's family took us to the airport and we said our goodbyes before heading through security.

Next comes our long 13 hour journey to Vienna via Amsterdam!

AfricaBound

Hi! Welcome to our travelblog page. We initally called ourselves "AfricaBound" because we spent a year traveling around Africa from August 2007 to August 2008. At that time, little did we even think that we could go on another extended trip. Somehow through much perseverance and determination we were able to save up for yet another extended trip, this time as sort of a honeymoon.
