British arways flight to Heathrow.
I have to get used to blogging on a regular basis and I already learned the hard way about not saving when I exit from this blog platform. We hit the airport in Calgary on Monday the 23rd at 1905 Hrs and the international end of the airport was dead. We flew with British Airways from YYC to Heathrow LHR and our flight was not until 2200 Hrs. We hit security and there was literally one other couple going in at the same time as us. So instead of this being a quick zip through, the security guy wanted to practice his skills and ripped my bags apart looking to test every one of his sensors. He just loved telling us that normally this was such a good thing as he would then take you right to the head of the lineup and you would miss the waiting, he said it to us at least 5 times as we looked at the completely empty waiting area. So off to the lounge where we waited for the flight, having something to eat and drink and relaxing.
The flight was great we were in a 787 dreamliner

and other than it being hard to sleep as it is in any long flight it went pretty good. We had two babies one row up from us and the little guy in front of us was absolutely the best, not a peep from him the whole flight. The one in the central aisle squawked on a regular basis and the parents put on a lot of miles walking him around.
Arrived in London on April 24th and we had a couple of hours to kill, walked three miles to the airport core and then proceeded to leave my phone at the La Pret du Manger checkout. Realized it and went back for it immediately and they had it set aside for me....Thank god.
