This only cost $90 a month...... groovy baby :-)
We'd heard from many people that the housing in Banff was really hard to come by- a lot of jobs offered accomm, but that it was really bad! So Bianca and I set out with one amin thing in mind... Find a cool little place to live :-) We checked notice board after notice board, we looked in paper after paper.... NOTHING!!! Ahhh as nice as the hostel was i really didnt want to stay there any longer than i had (apart from the shoebox rooms- it was a 20 minute walk-uphill- out of town). So we got a little disheartened at the accomm situation that we decided to look for jobs instead... we printed off a whole heap of resumes and set off.. dropping into anywhere that looked cool or had a 'help wanted' sign on the front door... Finally we walked into a groovy little place called the 'Old Spaghetti Factory' and we were in luck. Cause one of Biancas friends had worked there the year before.. the manager seemed to take an instant liking to us and organised interviews straight away. The place seemed really cool and hip and quite ambient :-) I had a good feeling bout

Ok some things never change... ITS A MESS!!!!
this place.. I think Bianca liked a swarve Steakhouse round the corner a bit more but she was still happy!
Bianca called on another friend that had spant some time here for any accomm contacts, and luckily a friend came up with a lead that we took..... and well the rest is history as they say :-) YAY we found a groovy little flat thing... It has two rooms (oh yeah my own room!!!!!!!!) a bathroom and a little kitchenette (no living room, but its cute for just the 2 of us.... and cheap!!!) We were so lucky and stoked to find this little gem!
So we went back the next day for our interviews.. they went well Jimmy (the manager) is so frinedly and casual. I WANT TO WORK HERE!!!!! He said he'd call us tomorrow with an answer..... waiting..... waiting :-)
So the next day we took off to Calgary to buy some stuff for our little home (it wasnt funrnished) We headed straight to Wal Mart (yeah like out of the movies) It was awesome... we went crazy inthere buying doonas, pillows, crockery, saucepans, bathroom accessories etc. We got cool shit and only spent like $250 it
