Beautiful Banff

Well, we stayed 2 nights in Calgary. We visited Fort Calgary and learned about the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and then went to the Heritage Center.
We left the next day and drove to Banff. The weather has improved very much. What a beautiful place! Snow capped peaks are everywhere. We have seen mountain goats, big horn sheep, deer, elk and 3 grizzly bears. We went to Lake Louise and hiked half way around the lake. We drove to several lakes that were fantastic. We have been up 2 gondolas to view the area from on top of the mountain. Tomorrow we are going on a boat tour of Lake Minnewanka. On Saturday we are leaving Banff and are driving to Jasper National Park.
