Al Bastikiya... This is one of the oldest parts of Dubai, a restored Heritage area, which has now become home to art galleries, cafes, boutique hotels, and cultural centres. Kathryn, Great photos. You are really becoming an expert in the area. Where were all the people and is it safe to be walking around there at night? Our lost hot day here today- 30 degrees!

Hi Brendan , glad you liked the photos . Ha it is very quiet in this area so there usually are very few people around , also the heat keeps people away ...& yes it is very safe there at night ! It is extremely safe here all the time :-)
