Getting Ready To Go

Well, here we all are! Gabi, Jayson and Dani have spent the last 6 months planning this trek around Malaysia (well Dani has at any rate!). Yesterday saw us spending 6 hours trawling the malls of Dubai during SUMMER SURPRISES (lots of crowds, no surprises there) in search of illusive backpacks / trekin boots / and other last minute purchases. We are now almost ready to go, cameras need charging and malaria tablets need starting but just before d day, Gabi has a Tudor Day extravaganza at school. 48 degrees outside and she is dressing in full velvet splendor!!!...mad but there you go.

I hope you all get to read this and other blogs we manage to write. Someone said to me today, are you nervous...I smiled and lied NO! Still, thanks to Rach and Ian we should have an emergency base in KL if needed. Failing that we shall come back ready to plan the next Guscott Adventure...so many places, so little time!
