19th sat last couple of days we have been in serbia and bosnia, sarajevo (serbrenica) was so sad, we had a tour guide tell us his story of how he lost his father and twin brother and how he had to braved the hills and the snipers to get to safety it was very sad and very brave of him to talk about. They buried e bones all over the place to cover up the genicide so they are still finding bones and belongings now since it all happened. Very. Much a wake call for us all not to moan about the bus being to hot and the food being average these people starved for ages and died of natural causes and from being slaughtered infront of their family members, what happened is shocking and surreal, i think back to what i was doing at that time( 1993/1995) , just carrying on with life, its so sad and the dutch soilders just stood and watched after promising to protect them, def pulled on the heart strings especailly when the mothers on the film were talking about saying good bye to their young boys then watching them die, so hard to hear, must be hard to carry on with life. Driving down sniper alley in sarajevo as very strange, there were morta holes and bullet holes all over the buildings it was crazy to see, people had to hide being vehicles to get over the other side of town. They were living in fear for 43 months, the resistance ended up building a tunnel underneath for supplies and to escape, so some surived but alot of people didn't, very sad. Today we are carrying on to dubrovnik croatia, which is exciting back to two night stops the one night stops were pretty tiring and we get to do washing awsome. Brent made it to london yay hes gona have a wicked time!. Chat soon xx give darcy and blake smootches for me xx
