Well, we survived a 24 hour travel day....got a few short naps in along the way, but it was so good to get into bed last night! Tips on things to do in Istanbul
Living vicariously through your blog. Darrell says to walk to the Pera Palace Hotel for an afternoon gin & tonic and if you're nice, they might show you Agatha Christie's room. A turkish bath is quite an experience; make sure to cool down before you leave the baths. Take a ferry across the Bosphorus to Asia. it's a nice crossing.

Unfortunately, we are staying away from the more ex-pat areas for now....so probably no Pera Palace Hotel....and a port warning today, so we may not get to the Prince's Island tomorrow....but otherwise, we having a great time!
