What a celebratory Auntie Mabel. Will we have to wait in line before we great you- what a superstar. We were thinking of you both setting out at such an early time & how challenging it must have been.Very understandable you need to recharge your batteries.Jan you have exceeded all expectations to date & I am sure the service would have been particularly moving.I trust you got Prince Harry's phone so you can look him up when you return to Aust. Mabel is Royalty!
Oh my goodness Mabel! Only you could have achieved that ...chatting up two very important people! And one very eligible bachelor I hope you introduced Jan!! What a mementos occasion! You both have truly experienced the high and lows of your existence there in such a powerful, personal place! I just can't wait to see you both again and share your experiences face to face! Make sure you are truly rested today before you head to Devon! You will just love it being with Daphne's son and daughter in law! I hope you booked lunch with the Queen via Prince Harry! Keep having treasured moments my dear friends. Xxxxxxxxxxx Aunty Ruby and co.

Mabel and Jan the daily updates and photos have been amazing. You are both celebrities to all of us. I have found it very exciting following this adventure as I do not have a connection to Gallipoli, but now I do. Can't wait to catch up when you both come home. Enjoy your next journey. Love to you both.

What celebrities ! (Mabel & Jan of course)
We have been out of mobile and internet contact for the past 6 days. So have read all your entries at once on our return. What a week you have had! Memories to last a lifetime and to enter the annals of family history...We listened to the Dawn service from Anzac Cove on car radio in pouring rain. You were uppermost in our minds. Much love Susan ,Kevin and Family

Mixing it with the common folk.
Nice to see that the dignitaries were able to meet you on such an auspicious occasion. Thought that you might have given the body guard the day off but I did spot her in the black beenie and dark shades whilst viewing the Lone Pine ceremony. Not very conspicuous. I also had an emotional experience at the Dawn Service in Canberra at the War Memorial and marching with the 460, 463 & 467 Squadrons passed the GG General Cosgrove. Massive crowd of over 120000. Very moving. Enjoy you well earnt rest. Safe trip. Love to all. xxx
