There is so much to see in Turkey we are still here. We are currently spending the night camping on the coast of the Dead Sea/Blue Lagoon. We have rounded the most Southern tip of Turkey and are headed along the Western Coast towards Greece.
We spent last night and most of today in Kekova/Simena. We found this Jewel of a spot and did not want to leave. You can only get to this spot by boat or park and hike in. We hiked over a big hill, through a Castle, and down hundreds of step to find this little village. Due to an earthquake, 100s of years ago , the entire peninsula was covered with water and the city was washed into the sea. We took a boat ride from a little local man and then jumped in the clear blue water and snorkeled over the underwater city below. It was great.
We had to get some work done on Blue Betty. She did not like the heat. We were in Antalya (big city) and found a good mechanic. We had an angel guide us to the shop on a moped (we would not have found it otherwise).
