Bridge leading to the garden area. Bridge leading to the garden area. Bridge leading to the garden area.

So pretty at night with hundreds of fairly lights strung up high over head. Ideal place to sit with children as they can play and ride on small machines in the back seating area like those small car and horse rides you slot 50 fils into.

Just had to rave about this place

This week myself and a group of friends decided to go some where different for our breakfast outing (we try to go as often as possible using the excuse that we are researching eateries in kuwait hehe). This week we decided to try a Lebanese restaurant we had seen close to a place called Fresh where my friends have eaten before. The food, service and surroundings were so good, I rushed back here to tell you all about it. Anyone who is alredy in Kuwait MUST go and try this place out. Its called Al Berdawny (find it at this link http://alberdawny.com/index.html ) When you first arrive, the thing that strikes you the most is the beauty of the restaurant itself. Its very castle looking with the most beautiful Mediterranean flowers growing up the sides with bright red and yellow blooms, mini pampas grass. I watr wall leading to steps that take you tot he entrance of the main restarant and a wooden bridge with pretty stream leading to the garden area.

We were ushered in and asked where we would liek to sit. Chairs were pulled out, table was

These lovely flowers are all around the restaurant. You get a real feel or luxury and a relaxing atmosphere.
checked and we were asked what we would like to drink, water was poured and smiles were beaming from all the staff. We decided on the breakfast buffet. It cost 2.900kd and was absolutly mind boggling. You can return as many times as you like and the array of food was top class indeed. Everything from cereal, fruit, yogurts, fruit, juices, tea, coffee, cheese and meat cuts to make the mouth droool, dried fruit, breads, crackers, sweets and sooo much more. This is just what is spread over teh centre table. To the right there is the hot counter and you are assigned a chef who will cook your orders for the morning. I chose spanish omellete and my friends chose thr hot bread stuffed with cheese's and Zaatar (oregano). They bring this to your table with a smile. The table on the left was another hot food buffet. Layed out in splender were meats in sauces, hot vegetables with salad accompniments, Lamb marinated with onion garlic and lemon, hotdog sausages warm and tempting, sausage vegetable mix, Kibba, falafel, lebanese sausages, hot potato's sauted to perfection. There was so much more but my memory is slightly blurred after eating so

much and now feeling very sleeping and in fear of my seams bursting.

It wasn't only the good food, the amazing surroundings, great architecture and design or the magnificent service and value for money that will take us back to Alberdawny again. It was the warmest welcome and personnal service we have had since arriving in Kuwait, and thats saying something as service here is brilliant.

I hope all those who hope to come to Kuwait and all those already here give Alberdawny a try and let me know what you think if it when you do. I wish them all the success in the world and congratulate them in an amazing succesful restaurant :D
