Beautiful Jordan
The unbelievable landscape of Jordan The next stop was
Dana Village, a very pretty little stone village. We planned to stop there to visit the Nature Reserve but were told of a campsite 5 miles away which sounded nice so booked in there. At first sight it looked lovely - little cabins set on the edge of a cliff overlooking a ravine - quite beautiful. However, the reality was not quite so good - the plumbing did not work at all, there were no sheets for the beds (we did manage to get the plastic covers taken off the mattresses!) and no lights. Ian and Chris decamped back to the village as Ian’s foot is very painful and staggering about the campsite would not have done it any good. If only we had too. We had a very uncomfortable cold night and Jeremy woke feeling very ill and feverish.
