Worn out with not much to do, our last day will be pretty light. For fun, I decided to spend some time helping an idiot tourist in the lobby call her airline. There are a lot of idiot tourists in Israel, and I have to hold my tongue a lot.
We walked down the street a few blocks to see the US embassy. It was probably the most friendly looking US embassy I've seen. It is right against the street with no fence, no standing police cars, and it even had windows.
We walked down south to visit the residence where the State of Israel was declared in 1948. There wasn't a whole lot to see, but they had a great propaganda video.
The entire afternoon was spent at the beach swimming, reading, and building a sandcastle. Well. Our time in Israel has come to an end. It's been a very interesting trip to say the least.
