The vehicular landscape of Iran is pretty dull. You can count all the models on one hand, very samey. So this was a real treat.

Yea I did it. Persepolis. Proper tourist so I was. You probably want to see more pictures of this wonder of the ancient world. Well you can Google it. I prefer pictures of doughnuts.

The guide wanted to explain the historical significance of all of the columns and sculptures of Persepolis. I liked the old skool graffiti more.

I included this for my Mum because she likes plants. Mum, these are like cabbages and they plant them like we would plant flowers, I guess they retain water in the hot climate.

Koran Gate in Shiraz. The idea being as you enter and exit the city the Koran blesses you. It is bypassed by a big busy road now.
