Good evening all,
It's 8:30 here in Austria. 3 weeks since we left from Denver.
Funny about time. When your home time flys by quite rapidly.
When your away on a trip it seems to crawl. I don't say that
in a negative opsevation, it's just like that. ? Today was a
"cracker of a day" as they would say in New Zealand. Sunny
72 degrees no wind. We took 2 lifts up in 2 parts of the valley.
I will post an image map of each. Both were different. About
the same elevation above the valley floor. The Elfer lift is at 1800 m
and is frequented by a cadraupara-gliders. There would be no way to count them.
We hiked some there but decided to decent and take another lift.
The Series Lift taking us up to 1600 m. This has a summer single track
like a bob sled that you ride flying down the mountain.
Look on you tube "sommerrodelbahn I'm stubiatal-mountain coaster"
We will be doing that sometime this week.
We had a late lunch on the mountain as all these mountain lifts
terminate
with restaurants at the top. Met a nice young English couple and chatted with
them for about an hour Jackson and Chantel.
now for some images of the day
