New year's eve

A lovely day for a walk! We walked up a steep hill to Chloraka then past the Cyprus College of Art displaying some weird and wonderful sculpture made from recycled rubbish. Then down through countryside to the Chalcolithic village of Lempa basically a prehistoric settlement from 2500 -1500 BC then along the coastal path and back along the sea shore past lots of hotels all closed for the winter.
My suitcase arrived mid day (luckily) after I had been to Marks and Spencer's sale! However i was relieved to have a decent pair of shoes to go with the new dress I had bought. Last night was extremely good fun. We shared a table with my cousins Paul and Deb and 6 of their friends but we were one of very few all Brit tables. The restaurant was packed, the food endless, the balalaika music evocative of past times and some of the dancing strange! But it was a great night out and one we will remember for a long time.
We're off to Dubai tonight ...hope the bags come too!
