A slow start to the day with the usual chores carried out before heading up to track. Just practice day today so not so crowded.

Pleased to find the two mile journey to track was covered by a free shuttle bus so made use of it and saved a cycle.

Watched F1, GP2, GP3 and Porche cup racing until about 5 then headed back. Track was a little daunting to walk round on first day so we found a spot close to our entrance. Racing was great and the atmosphere awesome even on practice day.

Made a few more friends on campsite and sat drinking beer and exchanging stories till about 10pm. Party went on for a few more hours but with two big days ahead we hit the sack early. Yes even me!
