Cruisy day Puerto Santa Maria

Of course we have to stop & deal with the basic domestics. So a day around Santa Maria. A population of 88,000 . We nearly stopped in Old town Cadiz for accommodation & are so pleased we didn't. This place is so much about the people & not touristy. Easy train ride to Old Town Cadiz or in the opposite direction to Jerez.

Temperatures are nice & easy, most days we're out early & home around 3pm. Plenty of seats in the shade that we make the most of. People here in Santa Maria are very approachable & friendly.

Toro is very much a part of Spanish life....for myself I am totally against it....however being here I wouldn't say no to a ring side seat to get what it is all about...but guess what...no shows while we are here....phew!
