After pretty lousy breakfast, departed for Sarajevo town and tunnels at 9am.
Very good guide, Elek??, who discussed the lead up to the forced enclosure of Sarajevo in 1991, then why the tunnels hsd to be dug to allow supplies to be bought into the city. Meanwhile the fighting and snipering carried on in the city. Saw a video of the conflict and then walk through the tunnel section.
Bus into the old town for a walk through the streets, stopped at the bridge where Ferdinand was shot which was the precursor to WW1.
Then into the town for walk past the major sights, cathedral, mosque, bazaar and shops.
We had lunch of chiperlatas, very good, then looked around ourselves but was very cold and windy.
Back to hotel at 4pm, then evening to ourselves.
