no amount of pictures can capture the magnitude of this cathedral. It is, simply put, amazing, architecturly and spiritually.

Michelangelo carved "Michelangelo Buonarroti, Floretine made it" on the sash running across Mary's breast. It is the only piece of work he ever signed. Of course, you cant really see that here, it is blurry and it was behind a glass case
