... need tap on the head!

All records broken now... going nowhere. Sitting in Bray Marina... anyone want to come and share a tipple and cheer us up?

Reasons to be cheerful:

• Helen and baby Phoebe visiting soon
• Not using petrol
• Had a lovely hot shower
• H had lovely hot shower
• About to start reading Fifty Shades of Grey
• Boats for sale here - going shopping!

Thanks for all your lovely comments and advice... keeps us going!

Stuck in Bray
Hi Both You must be the unluckiest pair alive - just remind me never to go on holiday at the same time as you!! I'm still jealous though because I am sitting at my desk doing boring old work (in a warm, dry office!!). When you said there are boats for sale and you are going shopping in the same sentence, does that mean you are buying a new boat?? One with hot running water, a double shower and under floor central heating?! Saw Lis Allan yesterday and she told me Helen is pregnant again - if it is correct then that is something really good to be looking forward to. Congratulations. And think how much you will love your house when you get back to it!! Onward and upward!!!! Love C xx

sun coming soon!
Just heard on the radio and the sun should be here by Friday! Wooohooo. So no need to come back and take your house back from us just yet :)

Rosie, from what I hear about 50 shades of Grey, you'll be needing cold shower(s)! Val x

sun coming soon!
Another reason to be happy: your not sat in ikea in Southampton waiting for a broken kitchen unit to be replaced! Having just realised you forgot to bring everything with and will therefore be having to make another round trip later in the week! Aaaarrrrggghhhh!

Rock that boat!
50 shades of grey will keep you warm and get your little world rocking! Enjoy X

book choice
Just hope you remembered to pack the necessary equipment to accompany the book! What boat will you be looking at? One with a tanning salon, washing machine, tumble drier and power shower I trust. Just remember you will have stories to top all of our rainy day tales! Ali coming home tomorrow for a few days, probably with a duvet full of washing-when does that stop?! Don't think we'll make it to Bray, however, we will see you soon, promise. xx

Looks brighter over there...
Hi sis and H, we admire your perserverance. Should be drier and warmer (humid) tomorrow Tues. On the 5 day forecast there was even talk of the gulf stream moving north by the weekend - so perhaps two reasons to be cheerful. Another plus is that you could be marooned in worse places than Bray/Windsor - another silver lining? I am trying. All ok here but girls fed up with no sunbathing opportunities. Keep going, this could become a new olympic sport - marine endurance. Take care, love all xxxxx

Few observations
Hi Glad you are both still getting on together, must be the naked crib! Just a word of warning though - be very careful reading Fifty Shades on a boat, what if it, you know?! Very much like caravan s__ I imagine! Would love to catch up with you but what with Phil working every day it may be tricky. Did suggest that he perhaps picks me up from work one day and we head to you, stay in nearby hostelry and spend next day together. Will keep you updated, if a; you are still on board and b; you let us know where you will be. That's all for now x

Hi there me heartties...
Hi Ships Mate & Captain H. Hope that you have had some better weather today. Hang in there I am sure you will get better days ahead. What an adventure you are having! Hope we can catch up with you at some point soon... we have visitors arriving for 10 days or so... Julie & Ron

Hang on in there....
The weather is supposed to be improving, so if you can stick it out for a little longer you could be in your bikini by the weekend! And hey, with Fifty Shades to keep you occupied, you'll be glad you have an excuse to stay indoors - my copy is arriving this weekend from my sister (via Mum, who has been instructed not to read it, but if she does, not to tell her daughters!). We're visiting Windsor on Saturday, so will have just missed you. Keep blogging - if you can put down Fifty Shades! x
