Early this morning was our last chance to climb Mt Snowdon. Some of us were less keen than others. We left the hostel at 6am and got to Llanberis 20 minutes later, parked the car and headed up the track. This was our last chance to go up the mountain as we had to head back to London this afternoon. The weather was looking far from fantastic, very cloudy and overcast and likely to snow! The start of the walk was very steep and tiring. By the time we got to the Half Way House- 1554m. Unfortunately, it was closed. We only saw a few people on the walk up. We continued on, but I was very sceptical about it. The snow was coming down quite heavily. We decided that it was best to go back down. It was not safe to continue.
