This annual event gets better every year. This time we were able to have a go at all kinds of craft activities, as well as stroll past dozens of beautifully decorated canal boats, and look at all the stalls. Kids could buy a passport for £1, and could then do 10 activities free all day. We had to pay a bit for what we did, but it was great.

The only blemish on the day was I bought Mum and dad a bag of toffee each, and when we called in at their house to give it to them, I found I'd left it on the stall - once I'd paid for it! So they had to make do with a pot of lemon curd.

What a lovely day out
Great photos and looks like fun was had by all - certainly kept you and Alex busy making hooks and stools :-) Must put it in the diary for next year.
